Traveling to remote corners of the world, she gathers images and inspiration that reflect the beauty and vulnerability of these environments, highlighting her concern for the planet's future. Forman transforms her visual observations into vibrant, immersive works that capture the essence of nature while underscoring the urgency of its preservation. Her art showcases breathtaking landscapes and also serves as a touching commentary on the effects of climate change.

About the Piece

Zaria Forman is an artist who spreads awareness of climate change through her pastel drawings.

She travels to remote regions of the world to collect images and inspiration for her work, just like her mother to find subjects for her photography. She has flown with NASA on several Operation IceBridge missions over Antarctica, Greenland, and Arctic Canada. She was featured on CBS Sunday Morning, CNN, PBS, and BBC. She delivered a TEDTalk, and spoke at Amazon, Google, and NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, exhibited in Banksy’s Dismaland, and was the artist-in-residence aboard the National Geographic Explorer in Antarctica.

Her works have appeared in publications such as The New York Times, National Geographic, The Wall Street Journal, and the Smithsonian Magazine.

All Frames Include:

  • UV-blocking acrylic plexiglass
  • Acid-free, archival materials
  • 100% natural wood molding with a deep profile. 

Frame Specifications:

  • Extra small and small frames: .75" molding, 2" mats, 1.2" deep
  • Medium and large frames: 1" molding, 3" mats, 2" deep
  • Matless frames have a spacer to prevent print from touching the acrylic.
