Julian Montague is an artist living and working in Buffalo, New York. His work spans a wide range of mediums and approaches, from long term conceptual projects to geometric abstraction. He was once known for a project in which he developed an elaborate taxonomy for identifying stray shopping carts. More recently he has worked on a number of projects that engage and subvert the conventions of modernist graphic design and art.
