From his Miami studio to your home, we bring you the Cuban master of the brush, Julio Larraz.

We are so excited to be spotlighting one of our most lauded artists, Mr. Julio Larraz. Born in Cuba in 1944, Larraz has spent his life creating art. From his childhood sketch drawings to his monumental sculptures in Pietrasanta, Italy, Larraz has situated himself as one of the most sought after contemporary artists to date. He has won various awards, including the American Academy of Arts and Letters and the National Institute ofArts and Letters awards both in 1976 and most recently the Gold Medal Award, Casita Maria, from the Center for the Arts and Education of New York in 2011. His list of accolades, awards, and recognitions is matched in quantity by the  imaginative quality of his art. His piece Dream, Children Please enjoins his audience to stay connected to an innate childlike playfulness, while Monroe Doctrine connotes a sensual and provocative aspect of a political milestone. His vision and talents continue to attract art aficionados and novice enthusiasts alike. But don't take our word for it. Have a look at his collection and let yourself be moved and inspired by the great Julio Larraz.
