Huffington Post Interview with Zaria Forman

Being from Rio de Janeiro, I grew up by the ocean, and I have always been drawn to the water as a result. This is an affinity I share with artist Zaria Forman, who has made the ocean the focus of her work. And wow does she do Mother Nature justice... she is a hyper-realist, and looking at her work of Arctic icebergs literally makes you reach for your parka!

It always amazes me to learn about the motivation of artists who immerse themselves in subject matters like Zaria does. As it turns out, Zaria’s drive comes from her own history and great concern over global warming. This and other interesting topics were the focus of my recent interview with her.
