Miami based designer Briggs Edward Solomon has created homes for everyone from a-rod to x. His signature style is an organic beach chic with a neutral pallet and pops of great art and accents. Briggs brings a new level of sophistication to Miami's booming design scene with his iconic look.

ArtStar collaborated with Briggs to produce limited edition prints of his personal work. The Briggs Edward Solomon collection on ArtStar showcases his large statement abstract images with stark pallets that will add a new level of sophistication to your homes and projects. 

We had the chance to talk with Briggs about how he got started and how he views the design empire that he has created. 

ArtStar: We love your work and the beautiful spaces you create for people. How did you get started on your path to being an interior designer?

BES:   While I was living in Los Angeles during my 20’s, I decided to open up a furniture store with the help of my cousins who where in the furniture business. My store Briggs Edward launched my career into the world Interior Design. 

AS:  If you had to choose 3 words to convey your design aesthetic and philosophy, what would they be?
BES: Clean,  Timeless, and Eclectic.

AS: What artists/designers/objects inspire you?

BES:  I am a huge fan of designers Vincent Van Duysen, Axel Vervoordt, and Christian Liaigre. In terms of art I am a fan of Cy Twombly, Richard Serra and Motherwell. Im also inspired by coffee table books, primitive antiques, fashion and textiles.
